A DIY magnetic insect screen in standard or midge mesh, seven sizes from 50 x 50 cm to 200 x 200 cm, on a slim PVC frame that lifts off with a finger tab.

Seven sizes, 50 x 50 cm up to 200 x 200 cm, so there is one above almost any opening. You cut it down to your own window, so order the size above your opening rather than below it.

Standard grey mesh is woven 18 x 16 to the square inch with 66% open area. It stops flies, mosquitoes and wasps and keeps the view and the breeze.

The screen sits on a slim PVC frame held by a self-adhesive magnetic strip. Nothing is drilled, so it suits a rented house, and it lifts off cleanly when you want it gone.

Finger tabs on the bottom corners let you pull a corner away to open the window. Let go and the magnets pull it back into place.

Frames come in white, brown or black, so you can pick the one that blends into your window.
