A cat and an open window are a bad mix on an upper floor. This screen lets the window stay open with the cat in the room.
The mesh is the difference. Pet mesh is woven 10 x 16 from vinyl coated polyester, which is far heavier than the fibreglass in a standard insect screen and is made to take claws.
It fixes without drilling and comes off cleanly, so it works in a rented house.
Four sizes, 50 x 50 cm to 100 x 150 cm, in black or white. Order the one above your opening and cut it down.
It still stops flies and mosquitoes, so you get the insect screen as well.
